As a technical writer I’ve been writing like AI my entire life. It’s total BS that humans can’t write as clearly as a machine can, and it’s a machine insulting our abilities and intelligence and people are agreeing with the assessment. I create and use AI tools, but they don’t think for me, and my stance is, and always has been, that if you’re letting AI think for you, that didn’t start with AI… you’re just using a new tool to do what you’ve always done… which is outsourcing your thoughts and agency and then taking credit when it goes well and deflecting when it doesn’t. AI simply widens the gap between those two sets of people.

How do we know if the AI detector is even real or accurate? And if you aren’t using AI to write online, well goood luck then!
